FRESH ORDER

Afforded equal opportunity is no remedy for greed
Manifested past zero heading to negative infinity
The principles of mathematics, no complexion; heed
Nor of being the masterpiece of a global economy

Recognised ethnicity is not limited particular shores
Comprising distinct geography and/or national borders
But of international well-being; it currently underscores
So too must we be afforded world-peace on fresh order

FROM DUSK TO NEW DAWN

Americans by commitment and lifestyle are increasingly burdened
But mostly by their government’s military undertaking, overseas
By such acts (coupled with covert) have become isolated; cordoned
So globally quarantined as if suspected of some feared disease

By some of the extreme measures taken are engaged by extremists
And now live very restricted lives (by all the necessary security)
By lavish living and wanton industries the worst of environmentalists
And whom by grand schemes of Wall street land a troubled economy

They suffer health-care inadequacies and dwindling job-opportunities
And citizen-soldiers called and recalled; jobless, maimed or else dead
An aspect of their reality that disrupts; bereaves entire communities
All against a backdrop of daily schedules that leaves little time for bed

It was this national profile that nudged them to seek new leadership
(Spread so thin)Narrowed to a highlighting of personal sacrifice and costs
Thence to a life-raft marked Obama; abandoning status quo: Mothership
Captained by Mc Cain, first-mate Palin , Republican shipping firm; the lost

Now life continues in open-waters; in unfavourable weather without chart
On a craft yet adrift without known supplies and without any proper shelter
Scanning the horizon in a surviving spirit but with no engine which to start
May have to be just content of being afloat; not duly suffer its over-exposure

TICKET TO RIDE

The world enters an era of immediate non-precedence
Instrumented by an act of conscience hence presidency
Potential of a flow where once lay but grave impedance
Facilitated by a re-defining of; but true global economy

Out of such may come a revival of former world-order
When individual nations experienced their full autonomy
With appreciation of each culture; respect of every border
When success not measured on just how strong the currency

It would certainly allow room for much needed dialogue
Truly confirm/support the authority of the United Nations
Eliminate the ugly dynamics into which all are dragged
Becoming to themselves, outcomes entirely of own creation

Gone forever would be the old, intolerant, “Bully of the block”
In sinister covert engineering; in invented mass invasions
Where most of the world is of such threat or of such attack
Or managed in such mess or awaiting an opportune occasion

PRE-ARRANGED

Every tomorrow is dependent on today
It’s the order they roll; consecutively
So does each today of countless yesterdays
Left potent to dictate most executively)

In every tomorrow appears some of today’s
When it does not it is received as, “changed”
But nothing can alter all opted yesterday’s
On which today so tomorrow, all pre-arranged

MUTANT

All of life bears some resemblance
However in contrast be their shape or form
By mere being so contribute to a balance
To a respectful place would each so earn

But the most intelligent of the species
Acknowledge but to it no longer prescribes
Instead of; to its well-being, its main disease
(The only strain found which to itself; denies)

NO LONGER HOME

The world is no longer in a hospitable form
Whether socially or by its environment
For all once of tranquillity now turned storm
And each with those conditions daily complement

The world can barely spare love and/or kindness
For they have become coupled with economy
Poor vision; great hope in an ocean of blindness
Where opportunity arises out of kept-company

The world is as conducive as would let it be
Of its growing and how-growing great population
Of the ways chosen to most energetically disagree
And of such its formal and informal invitations

Today

The world today is at its very end
All once seemed "forever" now terminated
Outcomes and events we cannot comprehend
All once thought sterile found contaminated

The world today is at its very end
Look at how joy is so outweighed by grief
Too much now broken than can ever mend
Too much pain without its proportional relief

Are these the days as scripturally predicted?
(Without proper recognition but no less true)
Experientially and by world-situations depicted}
(Once convinced what then to inevitably do?)
