FOREMOST

I am first and foremost of a living God
Of any other merely bare resemblance
Only truly alive when within His accord
Of true being only well within compliance

I am thus first and foremost within His claim
Only so established can find much inner peace
Long before, as to be discarded, ill remains
With time left abundant; with much be pleased

TAKEDOWN

In a rush of realizations comes the end
In a state of indignant resignation
In rifts too wide that can afford to mend
And exhausts all of imagination

In turbulences of quick understanding; the end
Leaving in its wake quiet astonishment
In an instant, would take years to comprehend
And even more for its accomplishment

IN ITSELF

Ends are mostly familiar terminations
Of; often heard of hence anticipated
Either in itself or beyond a culmination
But never to have of former, reinstated

Ends rarely are of unfamiliar terminations
Especially long heard of (as if never)
When of no held precedence: Combinations
Providing apathy, as if will: forever

IN- LIEU

In every final encounter of man; finds God
But first has to be recognized as all finality
A finite understanding of nothing afterward
And an ultimate recognition of own frailty

ON APPROACHING

Respond to God though not out of deep fear
Be it of peaceful obedience; of own related love
If only to yet understand of His personal care

Respond to God; may each, such cordial response
(Be of such willingness; degree of belief: Faith!)
Thus comes with such evidence only to correspond
To clarify of His true character; of His every trait

GOD’S TRUST

“In God We Trust” is no longer a mere slogan
In God now must; more all-encompassing: Real!
Of no silly motto; meaningless, encrypted jargon
Nothing out of mere support of a president’s seal

To know God’s trust is especially when, without
When any intellectual solution simply won’t suffice
When taken , Thus supported on an unfamiliar route
When only of own faith and belief, of any actual price

3-D

Of how much of yourself, are you aware
(Accepting being alive, three-dimensionally)
Of how much left unexplored; of each tier
Of which, when seem of acting irrationally

Is any single dimension constantly in-charge
Do they transpose responding greater need
Does each so move towards greater rewards
Do they so help, each; the others to succeed

NEARER REALITY

Mister president (now closer) an in-house, referee
Sounds, “Foul!” when, between Wall Street and Main
In national playoffs of current super-bowl economy
Leaving the world now very much less blood-stained

Mister president, sensitized by a troubled economy
Has already begun a better relationship to his peers
Has identified much nobler endeavors for his money
So encouraged, those at his mercy, to dry their tears

HIS POWER!

The power of God can be invoked only to cleanse
Never, ever to idly demean or to wantonly destroy
If seemingly does; integrally will have recompense
Potentially and very eager to have same deployed

The power of God stands by only to make better
Guilty of; surely making and taking unfamiliar turns
Thus left unaccepted, treated unwelcomed; whenever
But providing that which any/all; even by so doing, learn

BEHOLD!

Behold such purpose as, “God be made man”
Denounce of former self; be of sweet litany
A scene of the “Garden”; the original plan
Performed by personally achieved liturgy

Behold such convenience of second covenant
Of any of disqualification; of, “Paradise lost”
Only to recognize own sin; become penitent
But sufficiently prepared to pay all such costs

RIGIDLY AWARE !

It’s no fun rotting in a, once, but empty tomb
Or resting uneasily on a funeral pyre
Where, all once envisioned thus consumed
All once lived for; principally complied

It’s no fun, in decay, in a once but empty tomb
Or by a crematory fire but vaporized
Because to be then; unconscious, only assumed
Of such a state but merely stigmatized

OPEN-ENDED

Life lived with an open end
Is never short of possibilities
Ever willing to comprehend
Ever expanding capabilities

Never loses spice; any flavor
Absent of needs to pretend
In achievements no disfavor

BEING WORTHWHILE

Being alone; in the best company
No need for impressions; no impositions
None given; no asked empathy
Nothing to propose or be of opposition

Being alone yet no less alone
No need for popular associated sympathy
Nothing over which to moan
First, worthwhiile being of own company

A NEW BEING

Of a defined destination and crystal clear directions
Off to achieving any main objective may now go
Either in a complete turnaround or in course corrections
But however must now (rather) manually to…

Of an oriented setting, very sober, ever so thoughtful
Will so find the exactness; preciseness of life
So too of dear self become less; much less as doubtful
So rid the self forever, of all former, inner strife

OF PROMINENCE

The main task of life is to identify God’s
Subsequently align own life to the same
To successfully overcome, against all odds
And in all fidelity (to such found) remain

The complementary task is to, scripturally
First, understand the reason(s) for thereof
Next to figure as it applies contemporarily
And never to quit until sufficiently enough

SPECTATORS

Life’s journey is but an individual trip
No matter how much; kind of company, kept
To ascertain its goals; maintain a grip
Yet mannerisms and character left not unkempt

Life’s journey is but a solitary one
Fooled by the amount; length of company, kept
Discovered mostly when near gets done
When its mitigations are attempted, solemnly met

HYPE

How much of your day is towards God
How much of Him in daily transaction
How many of your deeds in His accord
How much when in common interaction

So proportionately is your nearness to Him
So proportionately; any ability to decipher
Exactly disproportionately; the outlook grim
Of life; of its living but merely of a hyper

CHOICES

With choice was ever man, by God, “burdened”
With a course of intellect with which to deliberate
Within a series of “erroneous” become cordoned
In settings contributing, unworthy, to investigate

With choice was ever man, by God, newly blessed
Afforded opportunity to shape/arrive own destiny
With equal consequences of upliftment or distress
Complemented with all just rewards; own company

MAINLY

A main thrust of life is to navigate clear way
Hosted by intellect through situational choices
Of changing into “musts” where once “mays”
And of faking as principled actual compromises

BY DEFAULT

I am happy to have your keen attention

For comes so much; the greater opportunity
For easily digestible; all formerly refused
No longer a position of imagined impunity

QUESTIONABLE

Does death end physical misery
Or of it merely act as transition
Is it ever an act showing mercy
Or onto some sinister completion

Is it pivotal of heaven or of hell
Same point; each awaiting turn
How come, when, not ever well
Of either outcome must we learn

MY PROFILE

I pose no threat; neither am I of enmity
However candid may be my disclosures
Remain neutral; as can, non-conditionally
Of no hidden agendas; of no enclosures

Of mostly upright do I render my support
Of only upright would I become integral

Children of God are fearful only of God
Of Whose outcome of the only certainty

But more of what can relate, sentimentally

The less to the “likes” of fellow man
The closer to God found belonged
Easier integral to His love and plan
(Incompatible with that of the throng)

Turned foundation of all that ever can
(Virtuous of being left “outside”)

TINTED

In absolute truth; there, God resides
As depicted in any scriptural accountancy
Limited to truth of self; beheld inside
Hence to the degree of interactive honesty

Impaired by such self-imposed impurity

ABSURD

It’s kind of ridiculous to ask God for His help
When (even unknowingly) broken His rule
When (through such ignorance) hurt the self
When (still insisting) to play or act a fool

At first (not to know) is by God put on “hold”
Discounted as a period of His given grace
Awaiting circumstances of shed light to unfold
Insistently outlining but a forbidden place

OVER THE DEEP

When last in contact with deep conscience
Surfaced (there found) to full consciousness
No longer of it, disbelief or of disobedience
Prompted now by all the actual awareness

When last in contact with deep conscience
Not dismissing same as, “being over the edge”
But now correlate same with current evidence
And testing same, as become but a solid bridge

IMPOVERISHED

Take not wrong done in a personal way
Such that may cause reprisal or vendetta
Its value is its analysis; what so conveyed
Its means of delivery; the defined media

No lost wanderer who ever so doing; astray
Silly, weak ; those spiritually impoverished

ALL OF RELEVANCE

Every natural principle was by God; made
When violated has its own consequence
Then not even God could rescue; can aid
But only to highlight in followed relevance

For the consequences was too of Creation
The consequences, all too, part of His plan
Tell-tale signs (as from Him) our separation
However late; for us to simply understand

EQUALLY SO

Wrongdoing gets you nowhere except to hell
Where by wrongdoing, rightfully belong
Terribly sick but in wrongdoing feel quite well
(A loser who wrongfully feels of having won)

Where when it gets real hot will plea, mercy
But its penalties as your wrongdoing; as compelled
A quenching for which must be equally thirsty

LOSE - NOT

Lose not the diligence (as started) to seek God
After you’ve had (of Him ) unmistaken evidence
With acquired confidence but resolutely forward
Prepared with the former self deeper severance

Lose not the enthusiasm once found with God
Spare not the energy in new, greater undertakings
Be careful when narrowing paths where once broad
Though being “found” not leaving others, forsaken
