God can only receive us as we do Him
The very size; very borders of His welcome
The very advantage of our own asking
The only act of us securing His kingdom
God can only receive us as we do Him
So directly proportional His arms in welcome
Only that way can but a place beside Him
Any other; not even as much as but seldom

HANDICAPPED
God speaks to you all day long
But you were never trained to listen
So with whatever He goes along
So practically from you still missing
God speaks to you all day long
But you are not oriented to His voice
So despite you do end up all wrong
So ultimately but pay such price
But you were never trained to listen
So with whatever He goes along
So practically from you still missing
God speaks to you all day long
But you are not oriented to His voice
So despite you do end up all wrong
So ultimately but pay such price

SO AFRAID
God hath spoiled us all rotten
Giving us each our every way
To the point that He’s forgotten
Except in need when to pray
God hath spoiled us all rotten
Just look where ended-up today
In ways and means but ill-gotten
Thus of ourselves but now afraid
Giving us each our every way
To the point that He’s forgotten
Except in need when to pray
God hath spoiled us all rotten
Just look where ended-up today
In ways and means but ill-gotten
Thus of ourselves but now afraid

BEING HIS
I lay in my bed and think out loud
Just so I can hear myself in the process
As my thoughts bottle-neck;back-up;so crowd
In those moments my head becomes topless
I lay in my bed; I let my thoughts roam
Instantly freezing those seemingly worthwhile
There, all alone I become but so less alone
Thinking of God; His universe; as His child
Just so I can hear myself in the process
As my thoughts bottle-neck;back-up;so crowd
In those moments my head becomes topless
I lay in my bed; I let my thoughts roam
Instantly freezing those seemingly worthwhile
There, all alone I become but so less alone
Thinking of God; His universe; as His child

AT NO COSTS
I solicit nothing but your mind
But of it to give most generously
Of your acquaintances but so remind
So bring to closure such poverty
I solicit nothing but your mind
Of which giving you'll have no less
The more offered, much better; fine
Until it operates at its very best
But of it to give most generously
Of your acquaintances but so remind
So bring to closure such poverty
I solicit nothing but your mind
Of which giving you'll have no less
The more offered, much better; fine
Until it operates at its very best

SEE-SAW
Life is fairly littered with ups and downs
Tailored to each but an occuring commonality
Within whose daycare our outlooks are grown
So much that they emerge our personality
Life is fairly littered with ups and downs
With equally as fair amount of room to spare
To interject with smiles where once were frowns
And for the rest of life new ground so prepare
Tailored to each but an occuring commonality
Within whose daycare our outlooks are grown
So much that they emerge our personality
Life is fairly littered with ups and downs
With equally as fair amount of room to spare
To interject with smiles where once were frowns
And for the rest of life new ground so prepare

UNTANGLING
What’s the mystery of life; point of living
If not but to discover precisely that
To explore of both appealing and misgiving
Not of any singly but left entrapped
What’s the mystery of life; point of it all
If not to find out but aggressively
The beckon of a deep, uncontrolled call
Closer and closer but progressively
If not but to discover precisely that
To explore of both appealing and misgiving
Not of any singly but left entrapped
What’s the mystery of life; point of it all
If not to find out but aggressively
The beckon of a deep, uncontrolled call
Closer and closer but progressively

THE GREATEST WISH
The greatest I can wish another; better, myself
Is that God may take full possession of my soul
Not at the moment of a lifeless body by itself
But when still intact; with all my faculties whole
The greatest I can wish another; better, myself
Is that the spirit of God be embodied me whole
When I can experience Him in my physical self
Not even ill and separated but of rigid and cold
Is that God may take full possession of my soul
Not at the moment of a lifeless body by itself
But when still intact; with all my faculties whole
The greatest I can wish another; better, myself
Is that the spirit of God be embodied me whole
When I can experience Him in my physical self
Not even ill and separated but of rigid and cold

AT FIRST
It's scary at first to surrender to God
Letting go of all your support systems
Relying strictly on His scriptural words
Even of your former self to but condemn
It's scary at first on God to solely rely
When He was never of such acquaintance
When of lesser relationships but then untied
When seem imperative of such maintenance
Letting go of all your support systems
Relying strictly on His scriptural words
Even of your former self to but condemn
It's scary at first on God to solely rely
When He was never of such acquaintance
When of lesser relationships but then untied
When seem imperative of such maintenance

IN ALL FINALITY
Death never erases the deeds of any man
Whether how measured may be his achievements
Whether his, conformed or not with others' plans
Nor whether or not felt or not but bereavement
Death never erases the deeds of any man
Depite the many angles of there; looking
It's really how he fitted into God's plans
And if his life was in theme thus overlooking
Whether how measured may be his achievements
Whether his, conformed or not with others' plans
Nor whether or not felt or not but bereavement
Death never erases the deeds of any man
Depite the many angles of there; looking
It's really how he fitted into God's plans
And if his life was in theme thus overlooking

FROM THE AUTHOR 4
For democracy once of oath I carried a gun
Convinced of the world to be its greatest need
Of nothing consistent I’d experientially learn
It was time to examine my life as such deed
Under same very oath; make, model of gun
Overseas I was deployed; an area of combat
To man’s greatest need as to God I’d turn
My life; many others made better since that
Convinced of the world to be its greatest need
Of nothing consistent I’d experientially learn
It was time to examine my life as such deed
Under same very oath; make, model of gun
Overseas I was deployed; an area of combat
To man’s greatest need as to God I’d turn
My life; many others made better since that

THE SAME PRINCIPLE(S)
Embracing different angles of same principle
Man divides into fierce fighting; opposing sides
Realising not that each stand but a mere angle
So on death and destruction harmoniously ride
They dispense of what should of common enemy
Willingly so assist becoming agents of doom
Unsuspecting but no longer of any adversary
But of a common wickedness of which entombed
Man divides into fierce fighting; opposing sides
Realising not that each stand but a mere angle
So on death and destruction harmoniously ride
They dispense of what should of common enemy
Willingly so assist becoming agents of doom
Unsuspecting but no longer of any adversary
But of a common wickedness of which entombed

A TRUE BELIEVER
A true believer accepts God in every form
But must first learn to recognise Him thus
Of that disposition but then easily conform
Then never of a stand that may state versus
A true believer accepts God in every form
But must first learn of; assume that position
Thus be calmed; prepare thus for every storm
By simply recognising t'is all His conditions
But must first learn to recognise Him thus
Of that disposition but then easily conform
Then never of a stand that may state versus
A true believer accepts God in every form
But must first learn of; assume that position
Thus be calmed; prepare thus for every storm
By simply recognising t'is all His conditions

NO OTHER
No entity ever; the description of God
No other entity; those characteristics
No entity of which mankind is so proud
No other entity as near as majestic
No entity ever; the qualities of God
No other entity but reigns supreme
No other manifested himself as Lord
No entity so fulfilling every dream
No other entity; those characteristics
No entity of which mankind is so proud
No other entity as near as majestic
No entity ever; the qualities of God
No other entity but reigns supreme
No other manifested himself as Lord
No entity so fulfilling every dream

NEEDLESS
We need not be told when we're wrong
For we innately know when we are
To be right is what we inwardly long
When wrong but spiritually afar
We need not be told when we're wrong
Our conscience but clearly anyway
Derailed by need to be with the throng
When evidently, solitarily must pay
For we innately know when we are
To be right is what we inwardly long
When wrong but spiritually afar
We need not be told when we're wrong
Our conscience but clearly anyway
Derailed by need to be with the throng
When evidently, solitarily must pay
