ABRIDGE-2

There is a gap, in actuality, filled by death
That can be abridged long beforehand
If God were to be, non-traditionally, met
So be part of His true, everlasting plan

The familiar gap can be crossed by pursuit
Of righteousness; ordinary; of routine
Beginning uprightness as but near conduit
In every daily transaction, as its means
