WHY WAIT?

At the time of dying; too railroaded the approach
From the skies of normal life and living; touchdown
Once convinced that of God now but of a reproach
With all its tell-tale signs so distinct; but profound

Facing imminent disaster; all but then too crowded
In a correlative, deliberate, decision; to Him, turn
Wait no longer; into ill deeper or to be sick; indebted
Or of the fatigue from such, to be nay; unduly worn
