Of all the species we're least instinctive
By intellect; its reasoning make deliberations
The very aspect of us that makes dinstinctive
For of every action can be offered an explanation
Over all the species we would thus exalt
But the very trapdoor of potential downfall
Coupled with a reluctance to admit at fault
Too often deprived of but ownership at all
