Life"s real promise is to re-unite with God
So is the thrust of our sub-conscious hence motivation
This very deep need over our own will "lords"
So the hidden agenda behind every ambition
Life's real promise is to re-unite with God
Which too often ends in that very disappointment
So life's journey is prevented truly forward
And with that phase but make grave appointment
