It's the, "poor in Spirit" that needs our pity; condescending attention
In much greater proportions than ever bestowed on the materially, poor
For their life and purpose are dependent on all but an elusive imagination
Of them, that demands immense wealth/power yet remain vividly insecure
They fake an inner satisfaction (never reached) by a wanton control of others
Always thrashing about wildly in constant fear/anxiety that they may sink
Characteristic of those found wandering well beyond their own, "safe" borders
In rehearsals of trying to convince others, of benevolently of them, to think
